Immemorial Musing

I’m so tired of people. Men. Women. Humans.

People are so quick to be hateful, but then they’re so quick to be offended.

Someone can say something absolutely disgusting or stupid to you, but if you fight back and call them out for it, they get upset, and they turn it back on you and call you something else stupid.

People hate on others and say things that are vile and disgusting, things that if they don’t really mean it and wouldn’t say it in person, they’re cowards, and if they do mean it, then they’re the absolute scum of the planet.

People think that their worth is their money or their achievements or their power. They don’t care about the people that they crush with their words or hurt with their actions.

People don’t have empathy. They don’t care about others, they’ll gladly step on others if it means they get to the top or get what they want. They would rather help themselves than help others, unless it makes them look or feel better about themselves.

Humans are animals, and they really act like it.

Someone can like something but others will see it as weird or dumb, and will immediately call them pathetic or a loser just for enjoying something different.

If someone’s life isn’t the same as their own, people will attack it and champion their own interests as superior, when they aren’t even warranted to be in the conversation. It’s not justified, it’s not valid, it’s not good. It’s bullying. It’s like a bully in middle school attacking other kids because they think they’re better. It doesn’t make you look cool, it just makes you a jerk, and no one looking at you in that moment looks up to you.

Men will call a guy weird or a loser if he doesn’t do the exact things they do and be “manly”. They will treat women like they are just here for men and nothing else. Then they’ll call anyone a bitch or a pussy or whatever other stupid and thoughtless word and think they triumphed over something pathetic or demonic.

Other people have these kinds of behaviors and actions, but it’s disturbing to see how many of these kinds of people are men, and that they say vile things without any emotion or care, and without any consequence.

Men will see a woman doing anything, literally any post or picture or hobby or achievement, and they’ll say she has no worth. They will say that they’ll sexually assault her. They’ll use violence and rape as an insult or an act of dominance and victory over any person, as if that’s all they’re capable of and that’s all that they need to be capable of to get what they want.

People will tell others to kill themselves over the smallest things that they don’t agree with or are angry about or are jealous of. Not just a comment one time or another as part of this toxic internet culture and behavior in this world, but also as real death threats sent to people and real encouragement for violence and abuse. 

People use words like gay as an insult because they think that people that aren’t their version of “normal” or “manly” are weak or ill. That mentality literally shows that they have some kind of issues if they can’t accept other people who are just living their lives.

People would rather focus on those who don’t align with their beliefs than the actual evil in this world, turning themselves into part of that evil.

People need to imagine if someone they loved or cared about received an insult or threat of any kind. The smallest spark of empathy can help people realize what they are really doing to others. If they still want to make those kinds of actions, then they really are terrible humans.

The most disgusting and evil things that people do happen because of the most illogical and unimaginable hate, and the insignificant and thoughtless comments that people make for no reason show that there’s hatred and at least a sliver of that kind of evil in them.

What’s even worse is that people will call talking about hatred like this “political”. This isn’t political, this is about people not having even the absolute lowest amount of respect for others of their own species. People that refer to it that way most likely have hatred of their own that they’re hiding.

People can be hiding anything. It’s normally said that if you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.

However, all that shows is that people have insults, prejudice, and hatred in their minds already.

We all have anger, jealousy, fear, and disgust. We’re all human with our own emotions, and our own flaws.

But no one should have hatred, prejudice, bigotry, or evil.

We all should have empathy, kindness, and acceptance for other people. 

The sad thing about all of this is that this isn’t even based on the world recently. Nothing “major” provoked these things. This is just people. Humans. The worst side of this species that overtakes the rest of the world.

It’s truly disturbing how humans act, tearing each other apart instead of just being one people.
